About the role
Google is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Notification Platform team, working on core infrastructure that powers many of its flagship products. The role involves building scalable back‑end services and integrating generative AI capabilities into existing workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Implement new features and capabilities to improve the platform for collaborators.
- Design, develop, and maintain back‑end services and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex problems across a large technology stack.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (Master’s preferred).
- At least 1 year of software development experience in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces.
