Project Architect

About the role

Jacobs’ Israel office is looking for a Project Architect to join a collaborative, innovative team delivering world‑class design solutions for advanced industrial and high‑tech facilities. You will work across all project phases, from concept through construction, alongside engineers and specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee architectural design delivery within complex project environments, coordinating with multi‑disciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Develop architectural design solutions using integrated 2D and 3D design platforms.
• Provide technical leadership through quality reviews of architectural models and deliverables, ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, constructability evaluations, and vendor/technical bid reviews.
• Support project planning by preparing architectural scope definitions, effort estimates, schedules, and discipline deliverables.
• Engage actively across all project phases, from master planning to detailed design and construction support.
• Foster strong collaboration within fast‑paced, delivery‑focused teams while managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• Relevant educational background with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Project Architect or similar role.
• Experience on industrial, manufacturing, life‑science, laboratory, data‑centre or semiconductor projects is preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and/or lead an architectural support team.
• Track record of delivering architectural projects from conceptual design through completion.
• Strong knowledge of building codes.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
